Welcome to BridgeWork LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our websites, including www.dobridgework.com and closethegap.work (collectively, the "Sites"), when you participate in the BridgeWork Gap Assessment (the "Assessment"), or when you use any of our programs, sessions, or services (together with the Sites and the Assessment, the "Services").

2. Information We Collect
We collect and process the following types of information.
a. Contact and Identification Information
Your name and email address, and any other information you choose to provide when you contact us, sign up for communications, or register for a program.
b. Assessment Information
Assessment Responses
Your answers to each statement in the Assessment, and the domain scores and other results calculated from those answers.
Professional Context
Your employer or organization, industry, years of professional experience, role level, and any cohort or program affiliation you provide.
Reflective Input
Any open-ended or narrative responses you choose to submit as part of the Assessment.
c. Usage and Device Information
IP address, browser type, operating system, referring pages, pages visited, and similar diagnostic and analytics data collected automatically when you use the Sites, including through cookies and comparable technologies.
d. Payment Information
Where you purchase a program or service, payment is processed by third-party payment providers. We do not collect or store your full payment card details. We may retain transaction records such as the amount, date, and description of the purchase.
e. Information from Third Parties
If a sponsoring organization enrolls you in the Assessment or a program, we may receive your name, email address, and cohort or team assignment from that organization. If you choose to connect a social media account, we may receive information from that platform in accordance with its terms.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Deliver the Services
Provide and administer the Assessment, generate and deliver your results, run programs and sessions, process transactions, and respond to your requests.
Generate Automated Insights
We use third-party artificial intelligence services to generate personalized narrative feedback based on your assessment responses. These providers process your information on our behalf under contractual restrictions and do not use your responses to train their models.
Communicate With You
Respond to inquiries, send your results and related follow-up, and, where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by law, send updates, newsletters, and marketing communications. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
Improve the Services
Analyze usage patterns, evaluate and refine the Assessment, and conduct research using aggregated and de-identified data.
Protect and Secure
Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and other harmful activity.
Comply With Law
Meet our legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
4. How We Share Your Information
We share your information only in the circumstances described below.
With Sponsoring Organizations
If your employer, or another organization such as a school, workforce program, or community partner, sponsors or facilitates your participation in the Assessment or another BridgeWork program, we share your individual assessment results with that organization, including your domain scores and the professional context you provide. If you participate independently, and no organization has sponsored your participation, we do not share your individual results with any employer or organization.
With Service Providers
We share information with third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf. These include cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, database and workflow platforms, artificial intelligence providers, email delivery services, analytics providers, and payment processors. These providers are permitted to use your information only to perform services for us.
Business Transfers
In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Legal Requirements
Where required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or other legal process.
Protection of Rights
Where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of BridgeWork LLC, our users, or others.
With Your Direction
Where you ask us to share your information, or otherwise consent to it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.
5. Nature of the Assessment
The Assessment is a self-reflection and professional development tool.
It is not a psychological or clinical assessment, a medical or mental health evaluation, an employment screening or selection instrument, or professional, legal, or financial advice.
Results are derived entirely from self-reported responses and are intended to support personal reflection and development conversations. You should not rely on the Assessment as the sole basis for any employment, career, educational, or personal decision, and organizations should not use assessment results as the sole basis for any hiring, promotion, compensation, retention, or other personnel decision.
6. Data Security
We use a range of security measures to protect your information, including:
Encryption
Use of SSL/TLS protocols to secure data in transit.
Access Controls
Limiting access to personal information to authorized personnel who need it to perform their responsibilities.
Vendor Diligence
Selecting service providers that maintain appropriate security practices.
Ongoing Review
Periodically assessing our systems and practices to identify and address vulnerabilities.
No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We retain your assessment responses and results for as long as necessary to provide the Services, support your ongoing development, and improve the Assessment, unless you request deletion.
We retain contact information for as long as you remain in contact with us or until you ask us to delete it, and we retain transaction and other records for as long as required to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
Aggregated and de-identified information, which cannot reasonably be used to identify you, may be retained indefinitely for research, benchmarking, and product improvement.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:
Access
Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Correction
Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
Deletion
Request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal and operational exceptions.
Portability
Request that we transfer your information to you or another provider in a usable format.
Opt Out
Withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time, by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us.
Object or Restrict
Object to or request that we limit certain processing of your information.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 13. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
A note on sponsoring organizations
Where an organization has sponsored your participation, deleting your information from our systems does not retract results that organization has already received. Requests concerning information held by that organization should be directed to them.
California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know the categories of personal information collected and disclosed. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined under California law.
Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom may have additional rights under applicable data protection law, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Sites, remember your preferences, and understand how the Sites are used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Sites.

12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BridgeWork LLC and its officers, members, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or relating to your use of the Sites, the Assessment, or the Services, or arising out of any decision made or action taken in reliance on assessment results.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
13. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date above and post the updated policy on this page. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice where required by law. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
